DAN is proud to be announcing its cooperation with Revision by hosting a panel discussion on the 19th of November during their two day conference held at Kraftwerk Berlin.
The discussion is titled: MENA Tech Talents in Europe – Experiences and Possibilities
Prof. Dr. Ayad Al-Ani: Co-Chair of DAN; Associate Researcher at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society, Berlin; Adjunct Professor at the University of Potsdam, Germany and Professor Extraordinary at the School of Public Leadership, Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Prof. Dr. Ayad is a Visiting Professor at the University of Hagen, Germany and board member of the German-Arab Association.
Ms Bassant Helmi: Co-Chair of DAN and founder and Managing Director of the Berlin-based non-profit association Global Project Partners (GPP), started in 2001 and which has grown over the years implementing a wide range of projects specifically geared towards supporting Arab businesswomen, vocational and educational training in developing countries, Digital Transformation in the MENA region, and knowledge transfer in the field of renewable energies.
Eng. Osama Abdelmoghni: CTO & Entrepreneur with 10+ years of success in setting up and developing profitable startups. Osama is the Founder and CEO of Coformatique; Co-Founder and CTO of Ouihop, Familinb, and hidsi. He is also an Adjunct Professor at ESCP teaching a course on “Entering the job market” and conducting business cross-culture. Osama is a BMW Foundation Responsible Leader and Network Driver for France and Benelux.
Eng. Ismail Chaib: COO at TESOBE / the Open Bank Project, a Fintech startup which provides open APIs to financial institutions. Prior to that, he co-founded the Algerian award-winning tech startup SMSBridge and transformed it into the leading SMS platform in the country. Ismail launched the German chapter of MakeSense, a global network supporting social entrepreneurs. He is also an ambassador of the UN Foundation programme +SocialGood and advises the Algerian Center for Social Entrepreneurship.
Eng. Dina ElMaamoun: Dina has been working in software for 10 years, mostly in quality and testing, with a minor detour in product management and marketing. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in Energy Policy & Climate at John Hopkins University while working as a test automation engineer at Younics, which develops energy storage and control software.
