Yasmine Kandil is the Head of the Alexandria Office of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry & Commerce. Ms. Kandil has over 15 years of professional experience within the Chamber, aside the fact that she is heading the Alexandria office. In these respects, she represents GACIC in the Mediterranean, supporting the chamber’s strategy of regionalization and support of companies outside of the capital.Her experience in the textile sector comes from managing two consecutive EU funded projects under the umbrella of the ENP & ENI CBC MED programs; namely TEX MED CLUSTERS (December 2014-December 2015) and TEX MED ALLIANCES (September 2019-August 2022). Both projects aim at the development of the textile sector in the Mediterranean Sea basin area.

Ms. Kandil studied computer engineering at the Arab Academy of Science and Technology in Alexandria, Egypt.
