Alaa Karanouh is the Campus Director of the HULT Prize Foundation at the Lebanese University Beirut and the Crisis Operations Manager at The Volunteer Circle. Her main role at The Volunteer Circle is centered around community building and promoting the organisation as a digital solution that disrupts the way we tap into volunteering and skill-sharing in Lebanon and the MENA region. Ever since the August 4th explosion, The Volunteer Circle has been used as a digital tool that strengthens the response for relief in real-time and Alaa's role has extended to match the right organizations to the right skilled volunteers as well as to the causes that need them the most. Alaa is heavily involved both remotely and on the ground.
